Memorial Day Activities on The Space Coast

Memorial Day weekend on Florida’s Space Coast is a special mix of remembrance, community events, and the unofficial start of summer. Across Brevard County, residents and visitors will gather to honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.

One of the weekend’s most meaningful traditions is the Rolling Thunder “Ride for Freedom” on Merritt Island, where hundreds of motorcycles and supporters come together to honor veterans, POWs, MIAs, and fallen heroes.
